Description
Crichtonsaurus are a type of ankylosaurid dinosaur, named after the author Michael Crichton. The lack of unique traits in its holotype suggests that it might not be a distinct genus.
Discovery
The first fossils for Crichtonsaurus were discovered in China in the Sunjiawan Formation. So far only partial skeletons have been recovered.
Paleoecology
Little is known of the ecology for this region, but it was likely to have been subtropical.
