Facts
The Fukuisaurus was initially discovered from skull fragments alone, so experts use other similar dinosaurs for the reconstruction of the rest of the body.
The Fukuisaurus gets its name from "Fukui", a Prefecture of Japan, where the first remains of the Fukuisaurus were discovered.
The Fukuisaurus was approximately 4.3 meters long, which is roughly the same length as an adult female giraffe is tall!
Though the Fukuisaurus is similar to other ornithopods, it appears to be more primitive than others of this group.
