Gryposuchus could grow up to 32 feet in length, which is almost double the length of the Nile crocodile!

This ancient crocodile is believed to have survived in both saltwater and freshwater.

Gryposuchus resembles the modern day Gharial, a piscivorous crocodile with a remarkably long body and narrow snout.

Gryposuchus lived amongst other equally massive ancient crocodiles during the Miocene, but was likely the only one to be exclusively piscivorous.
